if your save was previously corrupting and crashed, it probably cannot be revived, sorry. Many of these crashing errors caused garbage to be inserted into the save, which now is irreparable. If you can reload to an autosave, that's more likely to work. Otherwise, you'll have to start a new fort. Sorry!

An update was put out yesterday that might have addressed these issues with resolutions, update your game and check to see if it's fixed.

Fixed.

Hospitals should not be set to Offices, but rather as a Meeting Area. Once the zone is designated, you have to assign the Hospital location. Then, you must assign Doctors and Diagnosticians to it using the button with the magnifying glass within the Zone menu.

I am testing this save now. It seems like it is crashing due to an in game action. I tried cancelling all tasks and buildings. The one thing I couldn't cancel was a dwarf cleaning fish. Could this be it? comment last edited by net on Dec 09, 2022, 01:15:57 pm

Do you perhaps know at what point your save crashes? Could you check the error log?

There seems to be a couple people who are having this same issue, including myself
