The basic theme of this mod is what got me inspired to make my own zombie apocalypse survival mod, albeit slightly modified. My last attempts took some tags from your zombies and weapons, and tried to make a whole new array of guns... I always abandoned them in favour of a whole new mod idea, but I've come back to a zombie survival mod after reading The Zombie Survival Guide.

If it's OK with you, may I use the basic layout of your zombies and a few other smallish things to make my own mod?

It will be interesting... Trust me.

It's actually also going to be my very first publicly released mod, so don't be surprised if you find tons of crap that doesn't seem right.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU DEON for modernizing Wasteland!!! This, along with Corrosion, will now be used in my Modern Warfare mod I am currently working on (don't worry, I'll put your name in the Acknowledgments bit). Thank you, once more!!

Update this mod for 0.34.xx, please, ASAP. I need to figure out many of the reactions for my own mod.

Hey Meph, can you somehow release a .zip file version of this? I can't do .rar files, and none of the programs I have to deal with them work.
OldManHiggins wrote:
While that may work, I run into enough "Dwarf Fortress Has Stopped Responding" with Masterworks that I don't want to start applying my own "fixes". I can wait until someone with a better understanding of the game has made the proper adjustments.
I could probably fix it, I know my way through lots of raw files. Except for that bit where I can't do .rar files.

when are you going to update this to 0.34.01 :?: :?:

Yeah I am having a great time with this mod. I hope there is an update soon so we can enjoy this with 0.34.01
Can't you just make the new files and copy/paste the text to those files, or have some tags changed?
UristMCHuman who is this question addressed to :?: :?: :?:
Addressed to OldManHiggins, sorry for the confusion.

Is ...PLAYER_FORTRESS] even recognized by the game as a ...SITE_TYPE:...?

how do i know a things quality what are the signs in DF :?:

-Item- is Well-Crafted.
+Item+ is Finely Crafted.
*Item* is Superior Quality.
=Item= is Exceptional. (has three bars)
Unfortunately, I don't know how to make the Masterwork symbol on this Windows machine of mine. It looks somewhat like the money symbol in regular DF.

:!: hey if you see this i think this is a bug but if you destroy a trade depot while there is a caravan in it you get all of the items :!:
Yeah, that alone is a bug from vanilla DF.

Will this work on a small Windows-running NetBook like mine?

Thank you for making it a .ZIP file. I can't use downloads that are RAR files.

Does this use all of the features planned in the next physical release of the game? (i.e. city layouts, tombs/sewers, etc) Or does it use the feature and city format already used in the current version??
