Description
This contains a python script which when run on the raw objects folder creates for every creature (that is not aquatic, already intelligent, or otherwise unusable) an uplifted intelligent version of that creature, and a corresponding civilization entity. The script performs a keyword-based analysis of the creature description and prefstrings to generate creature personality and attributes, and uses the DF language and symbol data to generate the symbols to be used with that civilization. It also compares the physical form of the creature to the clothing, armor and weapon files to determine civilization equipment, creature biome tags to generate civilization tags, and determines what materials and technology each civilization has access to.

When run on the vanilla DF, this creates 132 new animalperson creatures and civilizations, each unique and plausibly based on the original creature.

Updated version - fixes creature attacks and some other issues.
Updated again - split each creature into its own creature and entity files. Also made fully updated for all the new adventure mode features in .18

Instructions:

To just play with the basic vanilla-based civilizations, copy some of the files starting with creature_animalpeople and entity_animalpeople into your raw/objects folder and ignore the python script. Don't copy over all the files, this will probably cause Df to crash from too many new civilizations. You'll have to pick and choose which ones you want.

If you want to generate uplifted creature civilizations based on a modded install, you will need to install Python 2.x and then run the supplied script. When the file directory opens, select the raw/objects folder of the Dwarf Fortress install you want to modify. The script will create a animalperson directory in the same folder the script is located in and save the files there.
