Description
An update to an very old mod that, in itself, was only a part of what I was running myself. These files need to be placed in the appropriate folder in data/vanilla to run. Some are direct replacements of vanilla files, in instances where I modify vanilla creatures such as elves and goblins or the vanilla factions. . To date, this includes about a half dozen creatures. - Caccodemon from DooM, cavern dwelling, bone spitting, and general nuisance. Dangerous, yes, problematic? Not really. - Tyrannus. Big dinosaur. Susceptible to being overcome by pain. - IT. More of a scorpion than a spider, rather deadly. - Mammoths. Snow elephants. - Dionaea. Slow moving plant monsters that seek to eat your dwarves. - Merlock. Tundra carnivorous creatures that make up a new faction entity. Something of a blend of the goblins, elves, and humans. - Merlock civilizations lives in tundra and wetlands, and coats said areas effectively before seeking to attack nearby entities. - Humans, Dwarves, Elves, goblins, kobolds, and animal men civilizations were slightly modified to make each somewhat more unique, with the aim of encouraging fighting in intermingling. - Elves were given a basic magic skillset, including a 'rage' spell, and the capacity to make animals grow stronger and larger. Their tears have mild pain-killing attributes, and an attempt was made to buff their weapons. Some new weapons and armor were added. Elvish hunks of wood, a buffed wooden bow, a plate mail suit meant to be used by elves and made only of wood. As of now, this is just an update to an old mod, and doesnt reflect any balance changes made in the interim. Enjoy! |
