I'm not sure how this came about, but have uploaded the save file (with a partial screenshot) in case something can be learned from it.

I'm not sure whether I stumbled across a brawl or alarmed a lot of people by having forgotten to sheath my weapon with 'q'. In any case, there was a lot of weapon-drawing and the strange statement by a merchant in the summary. It should be viewable by loading the save and pressing 'a'.
