here is my confirmation of kingubu's findings

13 text files -- output from modified script
1 open document spreadsheet (no fancy diff calc , line up rows and switch sheets to see diffs)

3 females and 1 male of each Peafowl, Goose, Chicken, and Turkey, and the hatchlings of 2 clutches each. Only 1 clutch out of each set of 12 grew.
