Ever wanted to play a game in a world like britain? PerfectWorld allows it, but you need a grayscale bitmap with the terrain elevation. It's not always easy to get one of those.

So i started with this picture: http://www.visualphotos.com/image/1x6049319/great_britain_relief_map (which is actually a relief, not exactly an elevation map, but it's good enough for our purpose). After some fiddling with gimp i got the picture here, which can be used with Perfectworld to generate britain-like worlds.
