The save when a year passed, for the community fortress Urnportal, the Evil of Adamantine.
It is set in an evil forest, in a valley beyond the mountains, and these dwarves are the only people brave or foolish enough to come. They fled to the caverns and found both magma and adamantine within months. Their goal: Study this miraculous metal, then escape alive!
A lot happened in the first year. Two migrant waves, a caravan, two new ghostly pals, bedrooms, a dining room, food stockpiles underground, a well, magmaworks, adamantine, farms, a still, an alco-hall, and much more. The fortress is definitely self-sustaining, and everyone is pretty happy.
