Alpha for the New and Improved Pokemon mod for DF version .34.11 released in 2012. 151 pokemon of the original first generation done so far.

Currently in alpha for testers to play over things in arena mode.

Short term plans:
Finish wild pokemon civ allowing for fortress and adventure mode shenanigans
Ensure every pokemon has at least 4 different attacks/moves with the exception of pokemon like metapod/abra
Create 2nd gen pokemon
Create more moves through interactions

Long term plans:
Create all pokemon up to generation 4
Synthesize almost all moves in the game
Allow for evolution through moonstones and other stones
pokemon healing through poke center building/workshop
