Sent to inhabit the sandy valley of * foreman Sillybeard was sent with a small detachment to settle the area in the name of the Dwarven kingdom. Upon arrival all correspondence to the Dwarven kingdom was cut, and Sillybeard declared himself Emporer of the new kingdom Bootjustice. The first year of settlement has been uneventful. The dwarves have been toiling night and day to sustain Bootjustice. A lack of water was an issue in the winter but with the arrival of spring the underground pond filled and all thirsts were quenched. Defenses have been started but are left incomplete, a system connected to an underground water reservoir designed to flood the valley in case of an attack. There have been no attacks and little wildlife as a bother, and as long as the dwarves don't kill themselves things should progress smoothly for another year.
