Nothing special in the actual world itself. But check out the dwarven civilisation. Are these guys mocking their inferiors?

My first world gen with 0.31.19. The dwarf civ's name is "The Treaty of Drilling". Drilling for friggin what? These guys are freaks. How did they survive world gen? They don't drink, they don't export/import ore, they don't even use coal or lignite for fuel. I swear, it's a bunch of short freakin' elves with fake beards, masquerading as dwarfs.

Points to consider on embark (what your civ allows you to take).

1: No booze.
2: No seeds to make booze.
3: No ore other than galena for weapon making (important with less ore in 0.31.19)
4: No fuel ore.
4: Only steel anvils (putting you back that bit more on embark vs an iron one).

How the hell did they survive with silver weapons, no booze, no farming, no ore and having to tree-lop their way to glory. DF 0.31.19 civilisation randomisation strikes in very strange ways.
