Description
This file is a summary of tokens, descriptions, and statistics for creatures who can be trained as a pet (and only those creatures). This was compiled from the RAWs in vanilla Dwarf Fortress, v0.31.18.

While the DF Wiki provides a lot of info on creatures and pet training, I needed more statistics and specifics. So, I spent hours reading through the creature raws in vanilla DF and I condensed all of them down to what I thought of as the "most important" details (which are included in this download).

Furthermore, I derived some statistics:

* Total creatures that can be tamed into a PET: 114
* Total creatures that are [PET] (that is, *not* [PET_EXOTIC]): 21
* Creatures that are TRAINABLE: 20
* Creatures that have [MOUNT] or [MOUNT_EXOTIC]: 27
* Creatures that can be a [PACK_ANIMAL]: 6
* Creatures that can be milked: 4

Keep in mind, these stats will change when the next release comes out. (Toady One has already stated that a bunch more domestic animals will be added.)

Purpose:
The latest Sound Pack release (Dec. 26, 2010) of the SoundSense Project only includes sounds for 7 different types of pet animals. I compiled these notes for myself to see how far "birth" / "grown" pet sounds in SoundSense could go.

Whether or not a creature can be made a pet is the most important detail as far as inclusion in SoundSense goes. Also, whether or not a creature is Hunting/War trainable determines whether alternate versions of "grown" sounds are applicable. And sometimes the creature description helps with finding a sound FX that would fit.

The rest of the details I included merely for my own use. I find a creature's size to be very important for several reasons, particularly for some modding plans of mine. And, obviously, the list of biomes helps me track where each can be found.

While I did leave out some tokens that others would probably find significant (such as [CURIOUSBEAST_EATER] and [CURIOUSBEAST_GUZZLER]), I figured that others might find what I've already compiled useful - hence this upload. This was done 'quick-n-dirty' because I'm lazy and I had originally only intended it for my own use.

I may or may not update this summary later.
