Saved game from 0.31.16... I just embarked to a seemingly normal area but arrived in Crazyland. There are enormous magma mountains... not volcanoes - mountains made of magma and molten rock, which are slumping down now and flowing all over the landscape now that I've started the clock. It's like Salvador Dali designed a df map. They run upwards nearly two thousand z-levels and are tipped with spires of adamantine. (Though I may not actually be able to see their peaks, I can't go past level 1804.) And btw no volcano was visible on the world map when I chose this location.

So of course the game is basically frozen, running at something like one frame per minute... it's too bad, it would have been interesting to see whether my dwarves could escape the magma tsunami apocalypse.
