I've rebuilt the fortress, set up some food and cloth production again, made everything nice and engraved, got a artifact leather backpack, tried to clean out the place a bit with some stockpiles, set up the glassmaking and smithing industries again, built a bridge to the mainland(the lever for it is in the statue garden near the aforementioned bridge) got everyone to at least near ecstatic, saved Kuzzles from his room, and trained up a legendary engraver and proficient miner.
