This is language replacement mod for vanilla language_DWARF file.

It replaces the vanilla_languages file in mod menu.

Place the mod under vanilla_languages and then take the vanilla file out of the file list.

Translation has been done with Deep Seek Ai.

The new language file has exact same 2201 lines of words as the vanilla language file.

I've checked that the translation works in-game, except Dwarf Fortress doesn't have letters Ä and Ö it can use, so they're unique letters in-game.

You can have your Dwarves and Fort named with Finnish words with this mod.

Couldn't figure out how to add verbs and plurals to the translated language, so words like "ale" is "olut" and plural "ales" is still "olut".

Rant about using AI in work:

I first tried using ChatGPT to translate the language_DWARF file to Finnish, encountering these problems:

1. I received error when trying to upload the vanilla file, had to break it into multiple parts.
2. If I asked translation to Finnish and link me a file, GPT would just copy the attachment and give me the exact same file I uploaded, no translation done.
3. If I asked GPT to post the translation into the chat, GPT would start inventing new words to add or change the order of the words, despite multiple attempts to tell GPT to not do that.
5. When copy pasting partial sections of the language file contents, GPT could work it out. If the pasted amount was too long, the AI would start to invent new words to add. Gave up.

Using Deep Seek, I encountered these problems:
1. Server is busy would delay the translation for few hours, since I would just do something else and try hitting retry every now and then or the next day.
2. After telling Deep Seek to continue pasting the translation in parts, but not requiring my permission to post next, the AI would just translate the work into 1 long post, until the AI timed out. My limited usage in AI couldn't figure out why telling the AI to "Post the translation in parts and ask permission to continue to avoid you getting time out" and it didn't listen and continued to translate until it was forced to stop.

Positives with Deep Seek: I could actually just upload the vanilla file and it would work the translation from it. I only had to copy and paste the work. WTF I paid 20€ for in GPT?

If you encounter any problems directly related to this mod... I have no idea how to help, I just fiddled with files and compared how other mods do language mods and copied after.

Edit. I had brainfarted and the other vanilla files had been actually taken from workshop mod that translates the game to English. Re-uploaded with vanilla language files for other races, since I didn't translate the other language files to english.

Edit.Edit. Fixed the problem with letters Ä and Ö. Didn't have correct format on note++. Tried ingame and now the words show correctly. Can't recall if I messed up by having the mod need vanilla language file, when it should replace it, so that is gone.
