ok so here's the scoop this modded save has been pretty unstable on a corrupted save level the civ of goblins this fort is built on has a problem with items crashing to desktop. this doesn't happen with new forts up until the caravan shows up to do trade with you, and I think this happen once with citizens of the same entity so it's the acts of one fort I retired that lingering on to doom future runs. this one a bit confusing as I kinda ran out of ideas on what went wrong, so far I think it's a dummy item that got left behind that desync the rest of the item pool and cause this issue. and this is like several fort made and retired so if it is an item corruption it's nested in deep. making this for rome since this issue seem to persist long after one reloads a save. so if items were fine at the start of that run before the crash happens those items won't be fine after it. oh yeah this also tested making custom holdings that link back up to your fort so there's that. oh and there's like bogeyman and friendly fiends in this fort... and a weird minecart humanoid. any way kinda been focusing on the site making and missions stuff the game has and been messing with that using dfhack. |
