I think I have encountered a bug in my game. When I try to take over a new settlement, the game does not save fully and crashes immediately after. I will win the takeover, but the game crashes when I try to save it. I am not sure if I have taken over too many places and that is causing the issue?

I have realized that saving the game before doing anything is fine. However, the moment I send my army out to take over a place and they win, I can't save and exit to main menu. I have tried taking over a place with a smaller population or separating the army into two groups and taking over two different places, but nothing seems to work. Even taking over a different settlement like a human one does not resolve the problem. So, it seems the problem is related to army takeovers.

When I try to save, the game always gets to "Offloading units 8" and then crashes. I hope you can help me resolve this issue.

This is steam version.
Current version of the game.
No mods, pure vanilla.

Lucky for me I made multiple copies of my save. I wont make the same mistake like last time.
