I've basically made just about every civilization incredibly mad with me, as a result, my fortress is surrounded with literally hundreds of bodies from failed invasions, while there's a massive swathe of destroyed goblin pits as my tacticians tear apart the frontier, even the majority of my civilians are metalworkers of some kind to help arm my many, many soldiers, or to build my castle with walls as tall as the trees around it.

(If you ever decide to make a military fortress like this for yourself, I recommend you turn stress vulnerability to 0, it's FUN but not fun as any new migrants will immediately go insane, though invaders can go insane too!)
