I have finished year 11 of the Chasm Challenge. Here are the incredibly specific instructions that you should feel free to ignore if you want to:

1. Military. You might want to have everybody wrestle for a while. When the immigration this year brought the fortress back to a healthy level, I had a standing military created. However, the over-experienced champions have been seriously wounding or killing my new recruits recently. As I said, try moving everybody to wrestling. There's currently not enough plate mail for everyone, but that might be fixed once the adamantine gets rolling.

2. Adamantine. There's a floor in the spire that I've lovingly dubbed "the adamantine floor". You shouldn't have much trouble locating it. I've never handled adamantine before, besides mining it out, so I've left the entire stock for you to deal with. Have fun!

3. Butchery. I've currently been mass-slaughtering animals to combat lag. If you feel like you can take it, just mark every one off of the butcher list. You'll also want to reorganize all the jobs for the dwarves. Most of them are currently just set for tannning, butchery, refuse hauling, or food hauling. You'll want to fix that.
If you DO want to keep butchering everything, merely go to the four butcher shops that I have set up on the west edge of the chasm (You'll find it) and unsuspend the "slaughter animal" tasks. You'll also want to expand the food piles, as I'm running out of room for meat at the moment.

4. Lag. You may notice at some point that the entire demon pit is on fire. This is the result of a rather unfortunate reconnaissance mission that resulted in all the charcoal catching fire. While the demons currently have no means of injuring us directly, they've gotten a spiritual revenge by slowing the game to about 10 FPS with all the burning charcoal. It should go out sometime during your turn.

That's about all! You don't even have to follow my plans if you don't want to, these are just some of the things I did and couldn't finish in my time limit.
