Description
Included is a save demonstrating a bug concerning the LOCAL_BANDITRY token. For testing purposes, the human civilization has been given the LOCAL_BANDITRY token, and additionally their regular banditry population has been removed. This means that only their patrolling hearthpeople will display the usual "drop adventurers out of fast travel" behavior. The problem is that the patrolling soldiers will happily ambush adventurers even if they belong to the same civilization. In this save, simply approach the travel blip to your northeast and they'll ambush you. The pretense of rope reed clothing on them will likely confirm they're native to the resident human civ, which the adventurer is also a member of. I did a further test with a couple of this save, by killing the ambushers before retiring. Legends mode confirmed that the ambushers were members of the civilization The Rough Realm, the same as the adventurer. However they were members of a different site-level group, The Anguished Councils. I HAVE however been ambushed in the past by same-site soldiers wioth LOCAL_BANDITRY, in earlier tests. If I recall, these tended to drop me out of fast travel then act non-hostile, unlike ambushing soldiers from a different town. ZM5 has been testing that scenario, if I recall. |
