Description
HRUqIoh.png

Note for M1 Mac users and Big Sur users: I've heard that Dwarf Fortress runs in macOS 11.0 Big Sur, but not macOS 11.1 Big Sur. If Dwarf Fortress doesn't run for you and you really want to get it to work, you might try downgrading to Big Sur 11.0 or earlier.

Tilesets that make good use of TWBT (Text Will Be Text) have it enabled by default. If you want to use TWBT's "multilevel" feature, you will need to enable it. If you don't know how to do this, there is an option to enable it in the DFHack tab.

Instructions: Download, open the disk image, and copy the "Lazy Mac Pack" folder to some place on your computer.

Important: You need to Option-Click (or right-click) the included Control-Click and "Open" me.command to appease the macOS Gatekeeper and allow the included apps to run when you try to run them. Praise gracious Apple for allowing us to run apps from outside the Mac App Store.

If you happen to notice that I've set up something incorrectly, please let me know.

Included Utilities:
Raw Data: JSON / Text
Checksum / Hash
SHA-256: c4931ef75ac5e474782f4353621b2f795f01f8f795d0727ee186c87af35cc42b

Sorry about that. I just updated it with some new library files that should fix it.

Works well so far on Mac OS X 10.9.5

Just wanted to suggest adding the following to dfhack.init to get the workflow plugin running (it seems to work without errors for me):
Code:
# Worflow Plugin enable workflow keybinding add Alt-A@dwarfmode/QueryBuilding/Some/Workshop/Job gui/workshop-job keybinding add Alt-W@dwarfmode/QueryBuilding/Some/Workshop/Job gui/workflow keybinding add Alt-W@overallstatus "gui/workflow status"

That was the only thing I was missing :D

Great pack otherwise.

Thanks. I've been looking into this. I added these two lines to make these shortcuts available for users who enable workflow:
Code:
keybinding add Alt-W@dwarfmode/QueryBuilding/Some/Workshop/Job gui/workflow keybinding add Alt-W@overallstatus "gui/workflow status"

This line was already included:
Code:
keybinding add Alt-A@dwarfmode/QueryBuilding/Some/Workshop/Job gui/workshop-job

Workflow users now only have to add the "enable workflow" part to have that plugin automatically activate every time.

(Now that the base game has a Manager that implements similar features to workflow, we want to help prevent new players from getting accustomed to the old workflow system and help encourage older players to learn the new manager system. So workflow will not be enabled by default.)

Could you please help me,

I'm new to DF, and trying to run latest "Lazy Mac Pack v0.43.03-dfhack.r1-f" on my MacOS - 10.12.1 beta 5. I move "Lazy Mac Pack v0.43.03-dfhack.r1-f" folder in to Applications, and when I start "Lazy Mac Pack" icon - nothing happens.

I tried to turn off security. I tried to replace lib files http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=12149 - nothing helps. I can still run "Applications/df_osx v0.43.03/df" file, and game starts perfectly, but unmodded.

Sorry about that. I just got my Sierra install working enough to do some testing. Just drag your "Lazy Mac Pack" app to another folder and then drag it back to get it working. Hopefully, this is just a temporary solution for Sierra users.

Wow, that works! I can't believe that simple dragging Icon back and forth can fix the problem :D It's amazing! Thank you very much! :)

Ran "me.command", and got the following:

The default interactive shell is now zsh.
To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`.
For more details, please visit https://support.apple.com/kb/HT208050.
DickChaneysBoner-MacBook-Pro:~ DCB$ /Applications/Lazy\ Mac\ Pack\ v0.47.04\ dfhack-b1/Control-Click\ and\ \"Open\"\ me.command ; exit;
xattr: No such file: df_osx v0.47.04/./libs/SDL_image.framework/Frameworks

I checked for df_osx v0.47.04/./libs/SDL_image.framework/Frameworks and "Frameworks" is there so no idea why it's saying it cannot be found. (EDIT: "Frameworks" is an alias (shortcut) file and it cannot find the original)

Further, when double-clicking Lazy Mac Pack after an immediate force close a file is created called "stderr.txt" which says the following:

Running PyLNP 0.13b (OS: osx, Compiled: True)
WARNING: JSONConfiguration: File PyLNP.user does not exist
INFO: Installing extras content for first time
WARNING: Unknown option: PRIESTHOOD_UNIT_COUNTS
WARNING: Unknown option: TEMPLE_VALUE_LEVELS
WARNING: Unknown option: GUILD_UNIT_COUNTS
WARNING: Unknown option: GUILDHALL_VALUE_LEVELS

Unable to proceed. Anyone can help? Running latest 47.04 LMP on macOS Big Sur 11.1 (MB Pro)

EDIT: I can play the game itself without the LMP if I go /Lazy Mac Pack/df_osx v.0.47.04/ and just run "df". This works for "dfhack" as well. Still trying to find a workaround for the LMP issue though. Immediately force closes on start. I'm thinking this is a fun security thing from Apple.
