Description
menu-mouse is a utility that adds mouse support to menus and lists in Dwarf Fortress. Visit it's forum home here: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=150518.0 This version is a work in progress and only supports pre-game menu's. Using nothing but mouse clicks and drags, you should be able to: 1. Load a saved game in Fortress mode. 2. Start a new game in fortress mode. 3. Create a new world (without advanced parameters). Usage:
menu-mouse [enable|disable]: enables or disables menu-mouse
In-Game:
Dormant mode:
Starts in dormant mode.
Active mode:
Left click the screen to enter active mode.
Left click on ITEMS to select them.
Left click on THE UPPER RIGHT-HAND "><" to close menus. Left click on REGION MAPS to change cursor position. Left click and drag on LOCAL MAPS to select an area. Left click and drag on LISTS to traverse them. Left click anywhere on FULLSCREEN DISPLAYS to close them. Move mouse off screen to return to dormant mode. Testing has been done exclusively on Windows 7 with DF 40.24. The .zip file contains a full build of DFHack 40.24r3 for Windows. It can be placed directly in your DF folder. IMPORTANT In order to enable menu-mouse by default, you must either add it to "dfhack.init", or replace "dfhack.init" with the included "dfhack.init - example". |
