I keep getting the message:

Main index file missing/corrupted. The file "index" must be in the "data" folder. Make sure DF decompressed into its folders properly.

I tried repairing, re-installing, and re-downloading. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Edit:
I installed the .zip version, and it seems to work ok.
