Description
okay, the moats almost done, I've started construction on the bedrooms down stairs and the outer walls.
were don't really have a very good supply of food worked out, if a big migrant wave comes through, we'd be fucked, but luckily i haven't created much wealth so that's unlikely. So far I've just been slaughtering the animals they show up with for food. and there's a small patch of plump helmets for drink. I played a little bit into spring, to make sure the expedition leader didn't get stuck outside of the fort. The bridge that was there collapsed and kill one of the miners, so everybody's a little on edge right now... They should finish rebuilding the bridge soon. after that if you remove that stairway on the left, the bridge will be the only way in or out, oh and i just started smelting some iron, and there's a bunch of coal lined up. I guess that's it, its a savage bio'me so we've had some weird creature man stuff come through, Panda men Grasshoper men, but the worst so far are the Giant peach-faced lovebirds. A fisher is on crutches now because of them, oh also maybe trade for some thread, or make some out of animal hair, or something, another one of the miners got hurt when the bridge fell and needs to be sutured up... i guess thats it. good luck.

I filled up the moat, completed the bridge and killed a shitload of pandamen. One of the children got stolen by the goblins, but fuck 'im. I started military up, got some archers training up. I added bedrooms and traded with some elves. Some men died while fighting pandamen, so I buried them. We still need reliable food source, but I have a nice pasture going. I started creating some mechanics for the drawbridge and some traps, but then it was spring already. Good luck! I expect the sieges will start soon.

alright, so this time i finished the walls, and hooked up the draw bridge, which is good cause some time in the fall 15 crossbow goblins show up with a spear goblin riding a giant olm, they only managed to take out a woodcutter and a plant gatherer before i got everybody inside and got the draw bridge up, i also managed to forge and shit load of arms and armor out of iron, and weve got 2 elite crossbowdorfs now, i also started 3 full squads training out in the yard but progress is slow, i started to build a tower on the top of the litte hill on the island, and ive got the mayor almost set up, i also started engraving the whole fort for some reason. oh yeah i opened a big hole in the basement that went down 2 the second cave level looking for magma, but crundles started to get in a bug people so i walled it off, shouldnt be a problem now. The next seige might have a flying mount, so i think it would be better to have to archers train up stairs in the yard. just so they're ready but whatever. i planted another bigger patch of mushrooms, to make booze but ive been supplementing those plants with gathered ones from out side. we're at about 160 dorfs and it take 2 still going all the time to keep up, not to mention all the barrels and charcol thats being made to keep up with our smiths and smelters, anyway see if you can find some magma and check the manager screen to see what still is qued up to be built. good luck
