Hi. Just tried your pack. But my problem is that transparency doesn't work. Anybody have the same problem?

Hi! First I'd like to show my appreciation for the hard work and dedication all of you have for Dwarf Fortress. The passion for this piece of art is astonishing and since day one has not died down even slightly; as a matter of fact it seems to continue to grow into a roaring fire. Very impressive indeed.

With that said, I want to point out that the links you provided for the starter packs - all of them lead me to a forum post stating on the top that the file contents being provided by the poster are deprecated and to find the current version if possible.

Can someone help me out, if I'm missing something I'm gonna feel real stupid. But a simple link to the current version would be greatly appreciated...

again, sorry if I'm just missing something right in front of my face I'll continue searching and will let you know if I solve my own problem.

You are already in the right place. On top there is the "Download Now" button. The current version of Dwarf Fortress is 0.47.04.

Seem to be having a problem with the screen going black. Going in and out of menus that use the whole screen can cause the playing area to become entirely black. Spamming "ESC" to bring up the save menu seems to fix it eventually. Makes the game pretty much unplayable, since going into the Military, Trading, Locations and Administrators, Nobles, Stocks, Units, Civilizations/WorldInfo, Announcements, Combat Reports, and Point menus all have a high chance of breaking the display.

Using settings Meph+Vordak(Lite)32x, Print Mode: TWBT, and TrueType Fonts: NO

Tried setting multilevel 0, or 1, and that didn't stop it from occuring.

I have this problem, too. It seems to be related to TWBT and the FPS caps. Go to Advanced, the top right is FPS Caps and set it to the same number, I have 33 and 33. It seems that if those two caps are different then the black screen appears more frequent. If nothing works then deactivate TWBT. Go to Graphics, at the bottom is Advanced and chose Print Mode: STANDARD. That's not the bug report page. Please post your problem on the forums http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=126076.0
