Hey Meph, you ever think about setting up a Patreon for all your hard work?
Wouldnt that be silly?
Each release gets a bit better and since mid-May2016, it is much more stable on my machine, anyways. Thanks, Meph --
All we need now is toady to make it work with x64 bit systems so we can get more memory out of the game >.<
Hermit mode not working - simply get a game over, over and over, plus a few .lua errors in the DFhack console.
Tried multiple worlds, all the possible hermit/dwarf civilization settings, many different races, animal races included, but no dice.

Bit of a bummer, seems like a super fun mode.
Hey Topodic,
Seems the last update broke hermit mode completely because the syntax of create-unit changed. Its an easy fix, next week it will work again. Thanks for letting me know.

unless threards are introduced this didn't change much when considering simulation speed
sense Masterwork is a .RAR file you need a file manger to unzip the file, the base unzip on the computer wont work. i recommend getting
7 zip file manger to unzip the file. this is usually the mistake that most new people make

Download, unpack, done. It has a manual included too, which explains whats the MasterworkDF.exe does.
Hey, I downloaded it, scanned the files and AVG gave a trojan warning... is this just BS or is it an actual trojan?
The file is MasterworkDwarfFortress\Utilities|Dwarf Mockup- 1.2.0.exe

^ This. Many mods attach to the executables to read and manipulate memory, dwarf therapist is a good example. This is similar behaviour to a virus and since the file hashes and signatures are not recognized from a common publisher they will be flagged.
Hmm... I enabled the digging on the Kobolds, and turned on the undiggable stone. It worked fine, but when I went to play a hermit, he cannot dig stone either. I turned off the kobold settings, restarted MDF, and basically everything else besides re-downloading the whole program. Any ideas? Also, no matter what playable civs I have enabled, I can always play any of them. Not sure if that is supposed to happen or not.
TheErk, you have to turn off undiggable stone and gen a new world. The Tooltip says so... only use that option if you only play kobolds.
I saw that shortly after asking... I appreciate the speedy reply, though.
P.S. Great job!
