Description
This little mod allows you to brew creature meats into blood wine (vertebrates) or fermented ichor (invertebrates) at a still.
Vermin, both live and dead, can be brewed into mezcal instead after being caught. The type of vermin is identified in the drink, such as "pixie mezcal" or "acorn fly mezcal". Yields are much lower than for plant alcohol, but mezcal is more valuable and so is dragon blood wine if you can get it. Furthermore dwarves will prefer blood wine or mezcal.

This is to help surviving a no plants challenge, but does not overwrite plant alcohols and can be used with them just as well.

To install, add to raw folder. The reactions must be enabled by adding the contents of add to entity to your playable entity.

Includes over 100 new materials and reactions, to make the vermin part possible so that the vermin is identified! Fear not, as the reactions that are available to you will jump to the top of the list so the interface doesn't become unusable. createreactions.sh is included for any shell script users - run it, specify vermin name and in-game name and it'll add it to the files for any extra vermin.




If you want to use this with a mod that changes default creatures do not use the b_detail_plan_default file, replace in your own b_detail_plan_default.txt
Under [BODY_DETAIL_PLAN:STANDARD_MATERIALS], replace [ADD_MATERIAL:MUSCLE:MUSCLE_TEMPLATE] with [ADD_MATERIAL:MUSCLE:VERTEBRATE_MUSCLE_TEMPLATE], then add [ADD_MATERIAL:BLOOD_WINE:BLOOD_WINE_TEMPLATE]
Under [BODY_DETAIL_PLAN:CHITIN_MATERIALS], replace [ADD_MATERIAL:MUSCLE:MUSCLE_TEMPLATE] with [ADD_MATERIAL:MUSCLE:INVERTEBRATE_MUSCLE_TEMPLATE], then add [ADD_MATERIAL:ICHOR_WINE:ICHOR_WINE_TEMPLATE]

Bugs: because small fish you can take with you at embark seem to contain neither fish parts nor chunks of meat, they cannot currently be brewed into anything. Small fish fished on site may or may not be usable depending on species. Still working on that one.
